Loving this post so much and not only is it the biggest investment but it is the most important purchase for sure. I love our home and there is nothing better than owning your own home versus renting plus for us owning is cheaper than renting. I am sure that varies by the area that you live in but for us it is the better option. I love working in the yard and keeping my home nice and clean and organized inside and out.

I’ve bought 4 houses in my lifetime. After my divorce, I purchased my forever home. I might move my home since it’s a manufactured home but I don’t plan on ever giving it up. I got a fantastic deal on it. I’m aiming to pay it off before my son graduates or get very close. The last house was a bit easier to buy because it’s a personal secured loan vs a conventional mortgage.
