I can’t believe I still haven’t watched Erin Brockovich or Freida yet. I have watched and also read Little Women, The Colour Purple and The Help. Loved all of these, both as a film and as a book

When I was a kid, I watched 9 to 5 so many times it is nuts to be honest…. but I have not seen it in decades and this list rocks! I will be checking that one out, plus of course Legally Blonde, Wonder Woman, and more!

There have been more and more of these types of movies which I think is great although it’s a shame they didn’t come sooner. These help to provoke thought about our own lives, the challenges we face and inspire us to address these. The gender pay gap is across professions and is an area that really needs or be addressed.

Steel Magnolias is one of my all-time favorite movies, but you’re right, all of these do showcase women’s empowerment in one way or another. I will have to watch these!
