I love the idea of visiting Troy for the stories rather than expecting spectacular ruins. The explanation of the nine layers really puts the site into perspective and makes it fascinating to imagine how many generations lived in the same place!

As a history buff myself….. I imagine this must have been the most amazing of experiences for you. and wow…. those pictures! Even though I’m not much of a history buff, I still enjoy visiting places of historical importance. It would be neat to see the locations of story legend.

Visiting Troy must be a unique and extraordinary experience, as the place is steeped in history. The sculpture of the Trojan Horse leaves me very impressed. I know the story of Troy through Homer’s classic, The Iliad. Without a doubt, the Museum is a must-see.
