Cancun Airport Restaurants

Cancun International Airport has many restaurants, ranging from fast food to sit-down restaurants, cafes, and bars.  Cancun Airport restaurants include:

Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.: a seafood restaurant inspired by the movie Forrest Gump.

Starbucks: popular coffee chain serving coffee, tea, pastries, and light bites.

McDonald’s: fast food restaurant serving burgers, fries, and other items.

Guacamole Grill: Mexican restaurant serving tacos, burritos, and guacamole.

Meraqui: a casual restaurant serving international cuisine, including burgers, sandwiches, and salads.

Subway: sandwich chain serving made-to-order subs.

Sbarro: Italian restaurant serving pizza, pasta, and other Italian dishes.

Fresh Market: a market-style eatery offering grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, and snacks.

Wings: a sports bar serving wings, burgers, and drinks.

Carl’s Jr.: fast-food chain serving burgers, fries, and other items.

Cancun airport food is fresh, delicious, tasty, and quick.

Guacamole Mexican Grill is located in Terminal 3 and serves tacos, quesadillas, burritos, BBQ and hamburgers.

Guacamole Mexican Grill offers the best food in Terminal 3. After you clear the security check, walk past duty-free and turn left and this wonderful restaurant is there.

I had a beer, Taco Al Pastor, and finished it with an avocado tart.

The taco is delicious and the accompaniments take it to the next level.

The avocado tart is creamy and delicious.

I strongly recommend Guacamole Mexican Grill at Cancun’s Airport Terminal 3.

  • It is always a good thing when there are great food options at the airport. I will have to check some of these places out when I visit Cancun.

  • Yum, I am impressed with these restaurants. All of the food looks delicious! Most of the time airport food is icky, but everything looks scrumptious.

  • Oh wow, you found a great restaurant there didn’t you!!! I do find it interesting to see the variation in restaurants in the different airports. It sounds like there is a really good range of options in Cancun airport. I doubt there were as many when I was last there. Love the sound of the one you went to. The food sounds wonderful. I am partial to tacos and the the avocado tart sound sublime. I would definitely consider that restaurant if we end up back in that airport x

  • Such nice spots to grab a bite to eat in that airport 😉 I love Bubba Gumps and I love the Guacamole Grill you chose. That would be my choice too 😉 YUM!

  • I’ve walked by most of those restaurants in the Cancun airport, but I’ve never eaten at any of them. It’s good to know that the Guacamole Grill is a winner. That avocado tart looks interesting!

  • WOW, this food looks incredible! I bet they get a ton of customers in that airport just for the food. It’s always great to know there are restaurants like this available while you’re traveling in Cancun. Honestly, I’d go to the airport just for the food… lol.

  • I have been to this airport about 10 years ago and I don’t remember it to be this improved as far as the restaurants. It’s great to have a variety of restaurant options especially if you have a long wait til your next flight.

  • This is such a helpful review of Cancun Airport dining! I love hearing real experiences, and your rave review of Guacamole Mexican Grill makes it sound like a must-try as I love that type of food. The taco al pastor and avocado tart sound amazing. It is definitely the place to go for a meal if I go to that airport.

  • I haven’t been to Cancun in years, and all I ever used to think about was the alcohol scene. Seeing the food again is such a refreshing reminder of everything I missed back then, so thank you for that.

  • I like how you focused on food options at the airport, it is one of those things you never think about until you are actually there and hungry. Places near the gates can be hit or miss, so it helps to know what is worth trying before you arrive. I always look for something quick that still feels like a proper meal, especially on long travel days.
