The walls are adorned with paintings, tapestries, and ornate mirrors adding to the sense of luxury and refinement. Other decorative elements such as vases, sculptures, or decorative figurines might also be present, showcasing the owner’s taste and wealth. The windows are dressed in heavy curtail adorned with tassels, to insulate and provide privacy.

I have not heard of Dundurn Castle before but what a beautiful place to visit. The architecture, the history, and just the ambiance puts this spot on places I want to see. It’s also very cool that they donate excess food to the local food bank. I love that!
