Brunch at The French

The brunch at The French should be an initiation rite for all aficionados and epicureans.
The French is a charming restaurant known for its delicious brunch menu and cozy atmosphere. They offer classic brunch options like Eggs Benedict, croissant sandwiches, and French toast. It is located on the dynamic and vibrant King William Street in Hamilton.

Equal Parts Hospitality has various diamonds in its crowns like Aberdeen Tavern, Diplomat, and The French.
I am heading to experience the amazing hospitality, impeccable service, and 5-star cleanliness at The French with local artist Olwyn and hospitality professional Aaron.
We are greeted by a friendly host who seats us facing the street. The restaurant is pristine and beautiful, and art meets hospitality.

Agnes is friendly, knowledgeable, and knows her stuff. Debbie orders an Espresso Martini. I order an orange juice and a Cappuccino.

The Espresso Martini is delicious, the Cappuccino is outstanding, and the orange juice is refreshing.
The Brunch at French comes with two courses at $30 per person. The menu is extensive and offers a wide range of dishes.
Debbie orders the Savoury Breakfast Turnover, and I order the French Burger.

The burger is ensconced in an amazing onion bun with caramelized onion-fig jam, bacon, Brie, Maple-Dijon Aioli along with crispy potatoes. The combination is excellent and the potatoes are on another level; light, crispy and tasty.
Season garnishes in a puff pastry makes the turnover perfect for brunch.
Olwyn has the Vanilla & Honey Yogurt Parfait and Aaron orders the Foie Gras & Chicken Liver Parfait for starters.

Both are delicious and have the right balance.
Aaron orders a warm scone to share with the table. It is warm moist, delicious, and one of the best scones I have had in my life.

Olwyn has the Savoury and Aaron has the Croque Monsieur.
The sourdough, ham, Emmental, and Mornay make a play on the Croque Monsieur. Outstanding.

Under Chris Pyatt’s guidance, the food is delicious. Kate-Lyn King leads the service brigade and it is impeccable.
The French is the best place in Hamilton for Brunch.

Holy cow! That’s what I call brunch. Some of that food looks like dinner, and I’m here for it. What a great spot.
Wowwww now this is what you call an elegant place to enjoy brunch. The food looks delicious and fulfilling. Just an overall place to relax and enjoy good food. I would definitely visit the French
well, that’s a brunch!! Everything looks so delicious, I wish I could visit The French soon!
What a brunch! I want to try that burger. It looks so savory and yummy. Oh I need a glass of orange juice too. Good stuff!
Don’t you just love it when your table service knows all about the restaurant she’s working for? Makes the experience so pleasant. Sometimes, even when the food aren’t all that great, when you receive great service, you know you’re going back. Anyway, I’m not referring to your food, haha! I think they all look so sumptuous.
The food here looks amazing! I need to save this to my must visit list. And the foam on the espresso martini is A1
Now that is what I call a filling brunch. The food that you tried sounds and looks great. Espresso martini is one of my favourite cocktails and one I would have had with my meal too. The savoury breakfast turnover and also the burger sound so good. I’m not sure which of those I’d choose. Actually the croque monsieur also looks good. I’d probably need to visit a few times lol x
This place looks so lovely. I would love to have a brunch with the girls here. It’s the first time I saw an espresso martini, and I think it’s fancy — I love it!
The sourdough ham looks delicious. I am going to try that if I get a chance to visit.
That write‑up on brunch at the French has a really warm, cozy feel. Makes me wish I was there, sipping something buttery and rich with good company.
I love a good espresso martini, so this caught my attention right away. The restaurant looks amazing with such a great menu.
