Hello! My name is Jerry and welcome to Four Columns of a Balanced Life. My goal and motivation with this blog are to empower women to live a balanced life in the 21^st century. This is achieved by focusing on the four columns of a balanced life – Food, Family, Finances and Faith.

Women have always had a dynamic and positive influence on my life as I lived with my grandmother, two aunts, and two female cousins. Today, I am a husband of 19 years and a father to a 16-year-old daughter.
