Palladium Vallarta

I am surrounded by lush and opulent gardens, on a cliff nestled in the gorgeous, natural and innate setting of Riviera Nayarit.

In front of me is an incredible and stunning view of the Pacific Ocean.

The Sierra Madre mountains provide an awesome drop to stunning sunsets.

The beach is private with transparent waters.

These prodigious surroundings give me the tranquility and comfort along the Bay of Banderas.

The only noise I can hear is the waves caressingly assaulting the beach.

Am I in heaven? Am I dreaming? I am on vacation at the four-star Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort and Spa.
Before you read my review, I strongly recommend that you read my article on how to enjoy an all-inclusive vacation.
My review of this resort will be broken into the following sections:

Getting to Puerto Vallarta Mexico
Visitors to Puerto Vallarta fly into the Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport or Puerto Vallarta International Airport is located in the municipality of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. The British, Germans, Americans and Canadians book a 7-day all-inclusive package to Puerto Vallarta by choosing their hotel and vacation provider. The airport transfers are included. I used WestJet Vacations for this trip.
The flight time from Toronto to Puerto Vallarta is 4 hours and 50 minutes. From the time you land to passing through customs is about 30 minutes. After you get your baggage go straight to the terminal and to your representative. Pass through all the timeshare sharks who will say anything to get you to their booth.
The Palladium is a 40-minute drive from the airport.
The Lobby
The entrance to the hotel is lined with palm trees on both sides.

We were welcomed with a nice cocktail and cold towels. The lobby is huge and welcoming.

Our room was not ready and I told the timeshare salesperson we were not interested in an upgrade or attending a seminar. We headed straight to the restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we had our baggage delivered to the room and unpacked. After unpacking we hit the pool.

I feel like like I was transported there! Thanks for sharing 😊
This looks so gorgeous 😍 I would love to visit!
Amazing place, well written
Great post! We are getting ready for our next vacations. Puerto Vallarta is definitely on our list. Thanks for the info!
I need to visit Mexico one day. I always hear how pretty it is, and I’m in Texas, so I’m not that far away. If I do go, I’ll have to stay here. I know we’d love it.
I need to get a passport as this place is calling my name. The beaches are so dreamy.
I stopped briefly in Puerto Vallarta while on a cruise and have always wanted to go back for an extended stay. You review of the Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort and especially the stunning photos of the property make me want to book a visit soon!
Your opening paragraph is absolutely gorgeous – ‘waves caressingly assaulting the beach’ is such a beautiful, sensory way to describe that sound. I felt like I was there. The tip about avoiding the ‘timeshare sharks’ at the airport is so practical and important – first-time visitors to Mexico often get caught off guard by how aggressive they can be. Also, good to know that WestJet Vacations packages include transfers. How did you find the food at the resort? I’m always curious about all-inclusive quality. Thank you for this lovely mini-escape!
The private beach and Sierra Madre views sound absolutely incredible! I really appreciate the helpful travel tips and the honest breakdown of the commute from the airport. It definitely makes planning a trip to Riviera Nayarit feel much more manageable.
WOWWWW, I have Mexico on my bucket list. This sounds like such an incredible getaway, you really painted a picture with your words! The way you described the gardens, ocean views, and those Sierra Madre sunsets makes it feel so peaceful and almost unreal. I can just imagine sitting there listening to the waves and taking it all in.
Oh wow! This place looks and sounds incredible! I need this kind of relaxing vacation.
This looks absolutely gorgeous! I need to add this to my bucket list – looks so relaxing
I’m very impressed with the photos especially your very first one. I loved Mexico when we did a day stop on a cruise. I’ve always wanted to go back but the lack of funds has put a damper on my plans. Maybe in a few years when my house is paid off.
